Ultrasound Cavitation
Cavitation and cryolipolysis are often grouped under body contouring, but they use different technologies. Our Nottingham guide helps you ask for a meaningful comparison.

Ultrasound cavitation applies sound-wave energy to a selected area. Cryolipolysis uses cooling. The consultation should explain why either is being considered and how the proposed outcome would be assessed.
At Atomic House, make clear whether your concern is a local fat deposit, skin texture or another change. Do not assume that an ultrasound appointment includes skin tightening, muscle treatment or every element of a package you have seen elsewhere.
Ask what equipment is used, which areas it is intended to treat and how many appointments are suggested. If another procedure is included, ask for its purpose to be explained separately.
Screening should cover your health history and relevant implants or skin conditions. Obtain the aftercare advice and review plan before starting. A course should have a defined objective and a point at which you and the practitioner assess whether it is meeting that objective.
Discomfort, redness, swelling and possible burns or nerve injury. This is not a complete risk list. Your practitioner should explain the risks and exclusions for your own proposed procedure.
Plan your visit to our Nottingham clinic or contact the team to discuss your questions.
It is not the same process as a muscle-stimulation treatment. Ask which tissue and concern the proposed procedure is intended to address.
Compare the same area, number of visits, included procedures and review arrangements, as well as the total price.
